With a background in dance and sports, Emily has always been active and interested in exercise. She found Pilates while looking for an alternative to the gym and an occasional yoga class, and quickly discovered its many benefits. "After sitting in my office in front of a computer 40 hours a week, I was really lacking in fitness and my muscles were tight and stressed. I found that Pilates was able to open up my chest and decompress my spine making me feel like I was functioning at my full potential, it was a real awakening!"
Emily is a graduate from the University of Colorado in Boulder with a degree in Sociology and minor in History. She underwent rigorous training at The Pilates Center in Boulder Colorado, learning the fundamentals, the disciplines, and the philosophies of Joseph H. Pilates. Emily is classically trained on all apparatus and passionate about helping her clients achieve their goals both mentally and physically.
Emily is a dynamic, enthusiastic, and high-energy teacher. She continues to study Pilates and train with her mentors.
